Buying property in Canada is very simple. It is not necessary to be a Canadian citizen to buy or sell property. All you need is to bring an ID and have the means to pay for the property.
To pay you have two options:
1-Payment in cash are no longer accepted, but you can just bring a certified check from a Canadian bank.
Or
2-Get a mortgage, if you are not Canadian citizens can also access credit, but in this case usually need to put down 30 to 35% of the property's value. If you are Canadian, the down payment will depend on your credit and work history, in some cases can be as low as 5%.
